A: No UL?? Wow!! So I decided to check some other items I recently purchased. Some 100-watt bulbs. No UL. I'm a bit concerned, especially given that those bulbs consume 500 times the power of the plug-in lights. Maybe I should throw them out. I mean it's better to be in the dark rather than be homeless. Albeit I could use the 0.5W pug-ins and just use those to read the paper, cook, etc. Maybe I could use my flashlight. Hey, Wait a minute! That unit doesn't have a UL on the body of the thing! Ah, let me not get exited; I'll check the batteries! What?? no UL logo on the batteries? My god; if the batteries happened to touch each-other with opposite poles contacting, THAT could result in a fire, and burn down my house. Hmmmm... back to the plug-ins... much safer, I guess. Heck, let me look at my shaver? What???? No UL??? Why not only could this unit remove my beard, it might remove my entire face! Hmmm... back to the plug-ins. Ooops...they only have a pleasant, very low power glow. No shaving device here. Let me check.... ah, the heck with it. I mean I'd rather get electrocuted and not even worry about that UL emboss. Then again, I've heard that "UL" means nothing will ever go wrong if it as the UL logo... rats.

A: The other outlet is still accessible. The light covers slightly more than half of the outlet.

A: I no longer have the box these came in, so I don't know if the amount of lumens is listed. I can tell you the info on the nightlight itself. It says AC120v, 60Hz, MAX0.5W . The light is as bright as a regular nightlight with a small chandelier type bulb. The best part is these don't get hot. And they turn off the minute the room is brightened, whether that be from the main light or by opening up curtains. When the main room light is turned off, if you have the nightlights plugged in, they will automatically turn on. It is bright enough to guide you through a room but obviously, you can't read by it.
